Former Minister of Information Dr Chris Mushowe has died.
Born Christopher Chindoti Mushohwe on 6 February 1954, he was a former Resident Minister and Governor of Manicaland Province having been appointed in this position on August 25, 2008. In this capacity, he also serves as a Senator.
He was also the minister of information and broadcasting services until October 2017, when the late national hero Cde Simon Khaya-Moyo was appointed as his successor.
The late Mushowe was also the former Minister of State in the President’s Office Responsible for National Scholarships.
